An e-commerce experience for a playful stationery brand.
Raibu, meaning "live music" in Japanese, is a conceptual live music event app that serves as an alternative to many platforms in the space that often have clunky UI and UX. It highlights primarily niche and underground artists and includes intuitive event search and filtering functionalities, personalized recommendations, and built-in social features.
Raibu was designed with the belief that discovering (and attending) live music events should be easy, transparent, and enjoyable. It strives to make event discovery more centralized and the ticket buying process more streamlined, while also helping users connect with friends and coordinate plans.

live event discovery
I started by interviewing users about how they discover and attend live music events. To make sense of the responses, I used affinity mapping to organize themes around decision-making, habits, and common pain points. These insights, summarized in the graphic bellow, helped shape the direction of Raibu’s user experience.
For easier event discovery, Raibu features filter options to help narrow down relevant event listings.
It also allows users to purchase tickets with quick and convenient payment methods like Apple Pay.
